    • Eligible to vote in the SEBSA election and on other membership voting matters

  • Returning SEBSA members do not need to wait until the beginning of an operating year to renew their membership. In fact, members are encouraged to apply and pay their dues for the upcoming year beginning in October of the current year if at all possible. (This “cycle” is in line with other professional organizations, and therefore should be more efficient for both members and those processing applications.)

  • In order to ensure that you are eligible for all benefits of membership for the current year, membership application and fees should be submitted before June 1st.

  • The SEBSA operating and membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st. To maintain your membership, you must submit an application and dues every year, even if you are a returning member.

  • If you are joining SEBSA June 1st or after, you will receive the benefits for the remainder of the year as previously listed with the following exceptions:

    • Inclusion of your profile in the Regional Resource Guide & Membership Directory

∘ You will receive the Regional Resource Guide & Membership Directory for the current year, but it will not be possible to include your profile due to the timing of the publication deadline.

0.5 certification maintenance points for RBP & CBSP

∘ SEBSA members may only claim CM points for full year membership participation. Therefore, you should not claim CM points for this year if you do not take action to join before June 1st.

  • If you are joining SEBSA for the first time after September 30th, your application and fees will be applied to the upcoming year. Accordingly, all annual benefits outlined above will apply for the upcoming year. However, you will receive the following benefits for the remainder of the current year as a courtesy:

    • Access to SEBSA group communications with the exception of election/voting communications

    • Access to SEBSA-organized webinars

  • If you have any questions or extenuating circumstances that impact membership deadlines, please feel free to SEBSAbio@gmail.com for assistance.

  • The SEBSA Corporate Membership offers three tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze Corporate Memberships, each providing varying benefits for groups based on the level of sponsorship.

Check out our Corporate Membership page for more info.

  • Symposium Sponsorships are available to current corporate members, offering various benefits and recognition levels at the SEBSA Symposium.
