Webinar: Rodent Surgery Made Transparent: Essential Documentation for Integrity and Compliance

As part of the Research Integrity & Compliance Services Series, the University of South Florida’s webinar, Rodent Surgery Made Transparent: Essential Documentation for Integrity and Compliance, will provide essential training for researchers performing rodent surgeries. Topics will include preparing the surgical pack, decontaminating the surgical station and incision site, and understanding aseptic technique. Attendees will also learn how to generate accurate surgical records, administer pre-operative analgesics, conduct physical assessments, provide post-operative care, and ensure proper suture/staple removal. This session is designed to enhance the integrity and compliance of rodent surgical practices.
