Celebrating Biosafety and Biosecurity Month - October 2024
The Division of Laboratory (DLS) is excited to celebrate Biosafety & Biosecurity Month this October. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of biosafety and biosecurity. As clinical and public health laboratories evolve, we can strengthen our biosafety and biosecurity practices through education, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
During this month, we aim to:
• Raise awareness and foster a culture of safety and security
• Promote the highest standards in biosafety and biosecurity practices
• Enhance the safety of our laboratory personnel, communities, and the environment
• Support the crucial work of laboratory and biosafety professionals
